Wow... almost ran out of room for the subject!
We are proud of our affiliation with the Assemblies of God and our Pentecostal tradition. We are also proud to be a welcoming community for students from all Christian backgrounds and denominations. Our campus includes many Baptists, Presbyterians, Methodists, etc., as well as non-denominational students. Everyone shares a strong commitment to knowing Christ and making Him known, and we celebrate our theological similarities while appreciating our differences.
This "Fire" team looks like a decent NAIA team! (Looking at their point-spreads...and being 8-1) receiving votes in the NAIA Division II Coaches Poll for the week of 12/3 (not 12/10).

They seem to be quite the open minded school...
Anyways.... We should win, for obvious reasons, probably will be similar to the RMU game, as long as somebody doesn't go off for 38 points we win by 20 or so. Excited to see KC play for the first time, if he's the best player on the team we're in for something special after seeing what Alec is capable of.
Valpo 98
Them 79
Man Valpo is going against The Rock? Well let's hope it's all Pain and no Gain (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1980209/)for them. Maybe we'll be six times faster and more furious (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1905041/). We should be looking for retaliation against these Joes (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1583421/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_14). We'll be primed for some transformations. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1659175/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_22) It'll be a race to witch mountain (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1075417/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_32)...
Ok I'm done, that last one was meaningless.
I think we'll win easily, but rest key players for stretches, especially in the second half.
Valpo - 93
SE Fire - 69
Let's get Keith 20 minutes with the 4 other starters and then rest them the rest of the game.
One interesting note. Southeastern has Mitchell Wiggins Jr, the son of former NBA player Mitchell Wiggins. He also has a brother that some may have heard of...
Hopefully we can get some big minutes to Chadwick and Davidson!
Valpo 89
Southeastern 61
Hello all, long time fan , brand new poster. Graduate from class of 2011.
Question: Has anyone seen anything in regards to a video feed for Saturday's game? I do not think I can wait til the ESPN game sunday for my first look at KC...
Thanks and as always GO VALPO!

Southeastern had a game with Milligan tonight... looks like things got a little chippy..... OK, you talk about crowd. Let's see, this was a home game for a team that's 9-2.... and they packed them in !!... I hope they made a lot of money on concessions, because they did not raise enough money to pay the refs!

Yeah, it is interesting how little interest there is at anything other than D1. I was curious so went to the St. Joes site, which of course used to be part of one the the great mid-major leagues of all time, the ICC. So St. Joes plays Bethel, the #5 ranked team in the NAIA, at home, and they drew? 298.

The worse part about when they drew only 85 in attendance was when they tried to do the "wave" and the Southeastern bench had to join in so it wouldn't die out.
Easy win!

I think the biggest issue is that someone actually has to have video cameras sending a feed to the internet before a game can be seen on the internet. Unless Valpo or Southeastern have made arrangements only UCF can have cameras at the game and they have made no commitments to have cameras at the Valpo vs Southeastern game.
No cameras=No internet feed
But Valpo has something better than camera's...we have Chef describing the action. Sit back and close your eyes...and pretend this is like 1949 and you're listening to the Lone Ranger on the big radio in your living room...There was an old quote somewhere that "those pictures were better"
The fall semester's final exams ended late yesterday. Therefore, welcome to Keith Carter whose Valparaiso season and career begin today!

P-T article capturing Keith Carter's thoughts about finally getting to play:

I thought Steve Gorches did an especially good job with this article. I have long wondered what this whole experience has been like for Keith, and we finally learn first-hand. Nice job by Steve!
Video feed for Southeatern vs Valpo game:
UCF currently has the Rio Grande at UCF game on this pirate feed. That means there are cameras at the venue and they might continue into the Southeastern vs Valpo game. You never know.

How do you keep a clock from running?
Tie it's hands together? ::)
I think you're thinking of how to keep pantyhose from running.
Again.
