There is a clear effort by Mark to get women coaches and I don't think he has ever fired one which may make the decision much more difficult. He let Keith go to get a women and let the male softball coach go and replaced him with a women. He replaced the male swim coach with a women. Other then women's soccer I don't think there is a male coaching any women's team.

I certainly don't have any problem with women coaches, just saying that if she goes he will replace her with another female.

Timing is everything, Miami O women's program was right down with ours. They replaced their coach after last season with Megan Duffy ,the former ND player, an assistant at Michigan. Miami was the #4 seed in the MAC tourney and won 21 games. Perhaps their are similar possibilities out there.

Winning either is or isn't a priority.

89-40? And this program is supposed to be improving? Seriously? They lost to Drake, not UConn.

NOT YET. If you still have a job you root for the success of the team you are in charge of whether you are on medical leave or not.

I don't remember if MLB gave any indications of whether he planned to let Carlson go just before it happened.

Please don't bring up Ostend and those negative waves man.

I'm pretty sure it was the worst loss of the year.  They lost to Purdue by 46 and had lost to Drake earlier by 36 and 32.  Obviously zero improvement.

Sure we are young but........SO IS DRAKE!!  They started 2 Sophomores, 2 Juniors and a Freshman.  They have 1 Senior on the team who scored a whopping 2 points!  Wow!  Our 2 Seniors scored 25% of our points and their Senior scored 2% of theirs.   :(

Should worry more about the stain of her record rather than the stain of being fired if that's the plan.

Shame, she's got the whole thing down except for the actual coaching. She's a pretty good recruiter, good ambassador for the university. Players seems to like her. She just flat out cannot coach. She'd actualy be a pretty good assistant.
This post captures it perfectly.

89-40 is embarrassing. Did the team find out that Dorow was getting fired before the game or something???  ??? Also was the Drake coaches trying to run up the score or something? Or was it the case of they're bench players beating up out starters? That is a horrendous point differential.

Their starters scored 45 and their bench scored 44.
