Been awhile guys - Yeo scored 12 points (5-6 from the field, 2-2 from 3), 3 rebounds (all offensive), 1 assist and 1 turnover in only 14 minutes of action as the IN boys beat KY 114-60 (that is not a typo) in Louisville this evening.

In general, this kid is going to be a good one.  Will need to add some strength, but can score inside and outside.  Really impressed with his game.

Thanks for the update.  Being in Texas those kind of things somehow miss our papers!

The bigger point is Yeo is part of a big change at Valpo as someone else has already pointed out.  Bryce and staff are attracting a higher level of player than we have perhaps ever seen.  How it plays out over the next few years will be interesting and hopefully much fun.

The South Bend and Plymouth newspaper will probably have a better account of what Clay did. They should be posted in the morning.

Well if they don't, I will be more than happy to:

Yeo played 8 minutes in the first half and had 4 points.  He was really just letting the game come to him and had a couple of nice finishes around the bucket and some offensive rebounds that were really more effort than athleticism or simply being in the right spot.  This was a function of the Indiana players getting after it the entire game and Kentucky's wanting absolutely no part of it.

In the second half, Yeo didn't come in and get significant minutes (remember he only played 14 for the entire game, so just 6 in the second half) or score any of his remaining 8 points until the game was well in hand.  Even so, Kentucky didn't sub out their two biggest producers (a couple of the lesser-known Kentucky Wildcat recruits) until very late in the game (probably 2 minutes or less to go).  At this point, whenever Yeo had an opening, he was firing.  Hit one three within the flow of the half court offense, another off of a break, and also had a nice drive to the bucket and scored over a couple of guys (one of which I believe was Derek Willis, the 6'9 UK recruit).

I guess the 2 UK recruits were far enough away from Lexington that Calipari couldn't fill up their schedule.
