Time and time again we seem to lose on back to back days. Tired legs? I also noticed that UWM played at least five fewer matches than Valpo did throughout the season. They were fresher than we were. Perhaps trying to continue the goal of 20 wins seasons is more important to KA than going to the dance Hell, the more matches you play the better the chance of winning 20 games or more. Right?

One of Butler's wins over a D3 school was Wittenberg. Witt,9-1, plays Lebanon Valley in the first round of the D3 playoffs. The winner goes on to play the winner of the Mt. Union - Washington Jefferson game. I look for both Witt and Mount Union to win and face each other in the second round. If so, I'll pick Witt to upset the Union. Also playing are Johns Hopkins and one of the Concordia's. Go Tigers and Blue Jays. Too bad Valpo can't play at this level.

Valpotex: Thought you might be interested in the fact that Tracey Woodson has signed an all-state player from Hilton Head to play at Richmond. The kid is not only a good baseball player he is an honor student in the classroom too. Watch out for Richmond.

Given the nepotism mindset at Valpo a concern of mine and of many 50's graduates is that we not go that route again. Does anyone know whether ML.the "Heck" or the Drews have relatives that are football coaches?

I understand that a coaching candidate will be at the Dayton game on Sat. Any other info?

Now 0-4 because of Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens. The 0-4 equals the number of consecutive losses Stevens had against Valpo. What next?

0-2 to open the season. The ex-bulldog has now become a puppy or is it a p---y? Regardless my prediction is that the Celtics will have a regular season record of between 38 -42 wins. Any other predictions?
