It will be interesting to see how Robert Morris does this season. Their next game is against Point Park U in a tournament in Circleville, OH (south of Columbus, halfway to Chillicothe) hosted by Ohio Christian U on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. EST. The Eagles also play Reinhardt on Friday at 6:00 p.m. EST and the host, Ohio Christian, on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. EST.

I also wanted to mention the skill that Clay Yeo had around the basket on shielding the ball from his opponents and being able to make quick moves to the basket with skills you don't see often from a freshman.

Robert Morris-Chicago knocked off Point Park 97-94 yesterday at the Ohio Christian tournament in Circleville, OH. That score doesn't exactly bode well for Valpo but I've no idea how good Point Park is compared to other NAIA schools.

QuoteRobert Morris got big games from Sean Montgomery, a 6-6 forward, with 33 points, and Kashaune McKinney with 19. Guard Demarko Nash added 10. The Eagles made 17 3-pointers and hit three big ones in the last few minutes for the win.

By the way, last year's #1 NAIA div.II team, host Ohio Christian, was beaten by, you guessed it, Cincinnati Christian, 86-81, in the same OCU tournament in Circleville, OH that Robert Morris-Chicago is currently playing at.

I don't think Valpo can think any of their opponents, no matter how they are classified, are going to be easy.

Slight error of inference. Cincinnati Christian beat Ohio Christian in CCU's own tournament in the Queen City. CCU also beat NAIA d-2 #8 IU-Southeast of New Albany 69-63 in a KIAC (Kentucky) conference game. CCU has also beaten Kentucky Christian.

QuoteSaturday night was a different story after being down at the half 39-42, CCU defeated OCU ending the game 86-81. Kenny Gaynor had a double-double for the night with 22 points and 10 rebounds. DJ McCommons added 20 points of his own with Mike HIll adding 19 points and 4 steals as well.

The team shot 50% for total field goal percentage and 77% from the free throw line.
