We need to establish an inside presence on offense.

Shane is having a great first half, no rust from the two game suspension.

Valpower

An unbelievable 0 free throws attempted by Valpo.  If they start hitting their 3s, it's going get interesting.

Banks are open on Sunday's in Oregon!!!
Great run at the end to take the lead. Team really stepped up with Vashil on the bench with 3 fouls.
Defense played great and Tevonn hit some big shots.
Need to limit the turnovers in the 2nd half and get to the free throw line.

Any word on the WVUR stream yet?

I think AP is going to have to bring this 1 home in the clutch for you guys. The foul disparity is ridiculous. The All-American will have to step up with help from his brothers.

Oragan feed through WVUR web site is working

I have access to the PAC-12 online feed but it sucked during almost the whole 1st half kept on buffering and then would go backwards about 5 minutes from where it left off.  Finally quit altogether until about 17 minutes left in the 2nd half. Now is working fine, but wanted to listen to Todd.

Darien Walker is our weakest guard currently. He needs to come off the bench

30 second stretch just killed us on this 10-2 run.

I'm at the game so don't have any media...what's up with Skara?

I think it was a stretch to think that his ankle would be ready to play in this type of game. He had suffered a pretty bad sprain in the Iona game.

I'm surprised they didn't run isos to Alec in the second half for 3s, after hitting the four point play it felt like he was gonna go off.  I'd like to see him be more selfish.  Maybe we can beat the Beavers on Tuesday.

Team showed grit down the stretch but Peter's late 3's didn't fall.
Like I said earlier, too many turnovers. Need to establish an inside game against a major opponent, tough to do with Vashil in foul trouble. Thought Jabril did a great job off the bench.
Tonight showed we can compete with a top 25 team. I feel bad for Oregon St on Tuesday, I'm calling a double digit win by our boys.

If Oregon didn't go on that run for one to two minutes in the second half and we could have contained Brooks some, I think we would have pulled this one off.  A very tough road game and loss, but we hung with them the entire game and we can (and should) start knocking off these big name teams.  We need to beat Oregon State this week and continue to build throughout the season.

Our 39th consecutive moral victory against a ranked opponent. Confirms that we must win in Detroit to make the tournament.

Tough loss, we could play our best ball in these two games and not get a win!  >:( OSU A must Win

Waiting for a comment like this.

No need to be negative. If anything it's a confidence booster that we are good, this win would have nice but it would have been a bonus from what I expect. This win wasn't essential for at large consideration. Taking care of the rest of our no conference schedule however, is.

I am still excited for the season and think this is a great group. I think Skara would have potentially put us over the top, especially as Oregon dominated on the offensive glass and beat us to every loose ball in the second half. But honestly, what are the signature wins that the committee would look at to support us getting an at large over a middling major conference team. Rhode Island was nice but a middle of the pack big ten team is going to have 3 wins a piece better than that. This game was required for an at large bid.
