Probably the same reason we don't have more athletics fundraising success (aka no remodeled Arc).  If it took us that many years to install a track and football turf.....why would a weekend trip to Rochester Hills MI be any more likely to raise real funds?

Have either of the Drew's been a part of this in years past?  If so how much did they raise in a normal year?  If you think about it, neither of them are that closely associated with ANY university in this calendar year, I'm also not sure that all alumni got over losing him to Vandy and then seeing him not succeed there.

Is it legal  for VU to invest $1K per week in Powerball?  No worse than the stock market, eh. If you do that twice a week you spend $52K to win at least $1million. If VU doesn't win the million, it certainly wil get many little chances to to bet some more.  😀😣
