Title: HL Media Day

According to an Oren tweet, HL Media Day has been cancelled.

I haven't seen anything else to confirm this, but if it's true I think it's a disappointing development. Only last year the commissioner announced that the league was moving its tournament to Detroit to emulate the format and forum of higher profile D-1 conferences. Now, apparently he has reversed course by cancelling our big splash, kick-off event that every respectable conference in college basketball holds to gen excitement and promote their brand.

I will say that moving the tournament and cancelling media day are consistent in 1 respect. Both show poor judgement (IMHO).

Just another reason why our dear "Commish" should be fired.  This guy is a disaster for the HL.  Give him more time and we will want to re-join the Summit League when they pass the HL by in conference ratings.
