Big Congrats to Coach Avery who has now compiled 479 wins in 22 years at Valpo.  She surpasses Ed Bauer who won 478 over three different sports.  Carin is a true legend at Valpo!  :thewave:

There, I fixed it for you  ;D

What is remarkable is that Carin did it as a single sport coach. Em coached football (with some of those wins actually being shared with Walt Reiner), baseball and even one year of basketball at VU.  Now Carin is a legend — and she has many coaching years ahead of her.

And her Team, the Women's Volleyball squad played a remarkable match last night, when after losing the first 2 sets against Bradley at Peoria, came back to win the final three sets, winning the match 3-2.  They played with alot of poise througdhout the entire match.

According to the announcers, last night,  they accomplished a reverse sweep.  I've never heard that term, but is does fit, doesn't it?
