A good place to play: Fischer said BYU and Valparaiso were the two teams he was considering when he transferred from Wake Forest three seasons ago.
"I visited Valparaiso and got to know the coaches and I met some of the players," Fischer said. "I've watched them over the past couple of years and followed them. They are a really good program and well coached. One of the things I liked about Valpo was, just like BYU, those dudes are really good Christian men and they preach good values. I'm a Christian and that was really good. You don't hear that a lot college basketball, so that was really cool."
That's pretty cool, and definitely shows that top transfers definitely take a look at our school. Hopefully Bryce realizes that he can continue to be successful at Valpo with strong FR classes, with Power 5 bench player transfers that want to make more of an impact for their team.
