I noticed there was no football blog this week so I'd thought I'd try to help out and channel my inner Joel Osteen...
"We have a new week and a new challenge. We are focusing on getting better today so we can be at out best on Saturday. Our offense is based on taking what the opponents' defense gives us. We must block their pressure and create opportunities in the run and pass this week. We will have to do a better job sustaining our run blocks and make sure we protect the quarterback on Saturday. We must be sound in our run and pass blocking schemes and pick up their movement.
Our challenge will be to stop the run on Saturday. We need to prevent the big play on defense and capitalize on our scoring opportunities. I told the team on Sunday we just need to keep fighting. Be the best that I can be in the moment I am in. Work to be disciplined in the execution of my responsibilities for the task I am assigned now.
I like the attitude of our team. We know our team is capable of coming back. Our goal is to play as hard as we can for 60 minutes one play at a time. Our theme for the year is What's Important Now – W.I.N. Our team needs to focus on what is right in front of them. Be your best in what you are doing now and the future will take care of itself."

Both the Bears and Eagles lost today so nothing's changed in Carlson bag of tricks.
Also want to point out that Carlson was fired two weeks after the original post in this thread.
I tend to pretend he just didn't exist
Shields Up - it's a new era for Crusader football! OK, I'll stop.
