Changing the message so you can grab people's attention. It's certainly something that pastors have tried before. Whatever it takes to get souls in church. Then Joel can throw one of his famous quotes at the parishioners and make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
He can also persuade losing football teams to get up in the morning despite the awful feeling in the pits of their stomachs. Whatever works to get souls onto the football field and into church.
The Osteen's are amazing hucks----marketers!! It unfortunately has very little to do with the Bible!

Why read the actual bible? The point is to please yourself because that makes God happy.

Last game that Michigan will play against Notre Dame in the foreseeable future and the Wolverines are in deep trouble. At least VU is only down by 14 as of now.
:P
Yeah, I'm pretty bummed about that. At least we win the series comfortably (24-17-1).
I could not tell if Notre Dame is that good or if Michigan sucks. I know Michigan's football program has been on the down slide, but geez....
Maybe Michigan was off because Osteen provided their pregame prayer (or warm fuzzy lesson, whatever you define it from him)
Nah. Sorry to say it, but Ann Arbor is more likely to invite Richard Dawkins to give the pre game 'blessing'.
maybe some wisdom from the great Hunter Thompson would be in place in Ann Arbor!

To go along with Richard Dawkins new book, The Blind Heismanmaker.
