As of today, the NCAA has instituted a new rule allowing for coaches and staff to like, retweet, favorite or endorse a recruit's post on public social media platforms. The coaches still cannot initiate conversations or post comments, but this will be an interesting development to follow and see how coaches use (or abuse) the opportunity. It also will assure that those coaches who have been reluctant to have a social media presence (ie. Bryce Drew) now will be drawn, perhaps compelled, to join.
