Title: Meteorology Program
Post by: vu72 on April 27, 2018, 10:01:32 AM
As many of you know, Valpo has one of the very best Meteorology programs in the country with graduates like Ginger Zee and in Chicago, Larry Mowry.  I came across this tv broadcast, detailing the program.  A good watch!

Have Mark Henderson here in Rockford, IL as the chief meteorologist at one of the local stations. Over the last 10 years or so, we've had a few other met majors get a start here in Rockford as well.

There was a program before a recent White Sox game that WGN's Tom Skilling presented on what the Sox called Westher Day. Standing near Skilling was what I assumed was an intern at WGN who was wearing a Valpo shirt. Does anyone know who that was in Guaranteed Rate Field with Skilling?
