If the Sagarin ratings hold to the end of the season,Davidson (#245) and Valpo (#246) could be playing in the PATHETIC bowl. That is,the loser will definitely retain the title of the worst team in 2011 Div.1 college football. Go Valpo!
Realistically it doesn't matter who's ranked what, Valpo can't beat anybody.

Qualify, please qualify
Little sisters of the Poor Valpo can beat
Indiana Deaf School Valpo can beat
There has got to be a div.3 team somewhere that Valpo can beat
I do apologize for my ranting in the Butler game thread. It's extremely frustrating to drive a distance to support a team and then when they seem to perform well know exactly when they will blow it. It was seemingly too easy to predict. On the other hand this Valpo football team does need some support. I think even setshot is lending his support in his very mysterious way. I encourage you all to find some way to encourage the players before the next game. Email Coach Carlson some positive attributes the team showed against Butler. If you have the email of a player or can talk to him personally I encourage you to be encouraging to the players in some way. Be creative!
We outgained the bulldogs 463-400. 400 was the lowest total allowed for this season (and maybe last season as well) ???. I'm out of ideas :(

To win we'll need another offensive control game like the Butler game. We'll need to handle the ball, and produce some turnovers. We'll also need a spark on special teams - long return, fumble, big hit. Not sure it will happen this season. It is good to see the offense improve over last year.
