Reading the article, I'm hearing things from interviewed players that I haven't heard in the past. Good things. Based on attitude alone, I don't think this is a 9th place PFL squad.
Why is this the 100th season? I've seen 100th Anniversary season, which I get. If our first season was 1919, wouldn't this be our 101st season?

No clue, but WW2?
Valpo suspended football in 1943 and 1944 during the war years. This is technically our centennial year but Valpo chose to celebrate it as the 100th season. That's what the decal on the helmet will be.
