I don't know about the last part but 6-1 may be should be expected otherwise it will be a very long season. Charlotte seems to play with some big boys so they may be a problem.
They are all winnable games, but I'd say 5-2 assuming we drop one to Drake and have a typical Valpo disappointment game somewhere else in the mix.
My guess is also 6-1 with a loss at Drake, but I have a strange feeling that the team could be hitting its stride and ends up 7-0. I wouldn't bet on that, but there seem to be a lot of pieces that may be fitting together.
I really want to say 5-2, but something tells me we lose the next two games in addition to one of the December home games when we try to implement Kobe King so I'm going to say 4-3.
We should 6-1, but it is morel likely that we end up 5-2.

I will be cautiously optimistic and stay at 4-3. I do believe this team has the talent to go 7-0 but
Drake, Charlotte and possibly Eastern Michigan are holding me back from drinking the Kool-Aid just yet (oh yeaahh!)-

4-3 but somehow we upset Drake and lose 3 other games to lesser oppoents.
I am thinking 4-3 or 3-4 with the difference coming from a win or loss against Western Michigan.
I say 4-3 and that feels a little pessimistic. If it's below .500, there are some serious issues to address.

It is a Valley game and anything is possible. We are also near full strength and beginning to perform like a team. I did watch the Drake- Belmont game and they are impressive despite that loss but the spread is inviting!
5-2 is the logical guess for our monthly result but when has logic ever applied to Valpo basketball? If we do win against Drake then suddenly 7-0 becomes the logical choice. :o
I will be at the Drake game tonight with my Valpo College of Engineering and old school

I'd say the same with a 4-3 record. Other than Drake, all of these games should be wins or there are definitely issues.
3-4 Hope I am wrong but I do not see this team coming together.
