This is an interesting interview with Brad Stevens when he played basketball at DePauw in 1999. He was a real quality person back then and he showed how hard he worked in the next 10 or so years.
His internship with Eli Lilly led to a job with Lilly which he quit to work with Thad Matta and later Todd Lickliter. This lead to the head coaching job at Butler. He played high school ball for the Zionsville Eagles.
