Title: How the Other Half Lives -- College Basketball Style
Post by: VULB#62 on October 25, 2012, 09:30:33 PM
UCONN just announced they are breaking ground for a privately funded, on-campus basketball training facility for it's men's and women's BB programs.  The bill is expected to be as much as $40 million when all is said and done.  This is not an arena.  It's "just" a training facility.  Here's the link:

In the same issue, but different article, the UCONN graduation rate for MBB was listed as 11%.  The national average is 74%

I believe you mean the minor league Connecticut Huskies of the Big East League are building a new $40 million training facility.

I bet there are some minor league sports teams that have a better graduation rate than 11%!!!!  :o
