valpospartan--if you do not have someone who wants them, you can drop off to the Athletic Department, Mark L's office or Aaron's.  It is my understanding for the rest of the Board that if you have Valpo athletic items and/or memorabilia (in good shape) that you would like to find a home for (particularly older items--e.g. pre 1980), you can check with the Athletic Dept if they would like the materials.

Thanks, I will do that.

I know you're a longstanding Crusader BB and VB supporter (maybe FB also?) and season ticket holder. Are you moving somewhere locally, or out of the area where you will no longer be able to watch our beloved Crusaders in person?
We will be staying in Valpo, WH, thanks for asking.  And we will be still watching MBB and I will be watching VB (the wife isn't a VB fan).  Strangely, I have never attended a VU FB game in the 50+ years we have lived in Valpo.  And, BTW, we'll be signing up for ESPN+, albeit reluctantly.

Yikes. My first reaction was that you had nailed 5 of the people on this forum to a wall.  Whew!

Easy, easy, they're merely taped.

I have 5 MBB posters that have been on my walls for some time.  Since I am moving, they are scheduled for recycling, unless someone might want them.  Send me a message if you do.
They are:
2001-2002
2004
2005-2005
2006-2007
2009-2010
2010-2011

Seeing as AP's draft was over a year ago, how about if this thread goes away and posts about him appear in a new & more current thread?

Great news!  Congratulations to Rowdy.

The rain and flooding situation at Des Moines is terrible. Many homes have been destroyed or have encountered significant damage. I am surprised it has not made national news. Larry Cotlar was a popular Des Moines sports personality and he will be missed.

This was mentioned on Chicago TV news, he was identified as a Des Moines broadcaster.

Where did you watch this? One of the ESPN or Fox stations, online somewhere?
Google says Fox, FS1 or Facebook live.

Worried?   Why should we... after all there still are several 5-star recruits who as yet have not chosen a school for next fall, although R Langford will announce his choice tonight.

News flash: Langford didn't pick Valpo, but he is staying in state.

Unfortunately, not everyone is an AP fan:
"Valley of the Suns.com, the Phoenix Suns news and opinions site brought to you by the FanSided Network. Valley of the Suns is dedicated to providing top-notch Suns news, views, and original content. This site also serves as a community for like-minded fans to come together to catch up on the latest news and to discuss their passion."
This site published the following about AP: https://valleyofthesuns.com/2018/04/06/phoenix-suns-alec-peters-experiment/

This is posted for your information, and is not my opinion at all.

Chris Palumbezio is head case? Not surprising, as like father Dan like son.
Not to mention grandfather.

Imagine my shock when I saw this photo  on the front page of the Bradenton (Florida) Herald's Sports section (above the fold) this morning.

Michigan State also has student seating along the sidelines, as well as the ends.

D.  I grade based on objective performance.  C means average.  D is below average.  We lost more than we won, therefore D.

I am pleased with the progress over the second half.  This team had the life sucked out of it when Joe Burton left and when Tevonn got sick.  Talk about a team dead in the water!  Regardless, players improved, the defense started to improve, and players started picking up the offensive slack, especially Golder, Bakari, and Smits.

Over the off-season, the guys will get older, they will continue to learn how to play as a team.  This is a sophomore-laden group. I hope our bigs (and Mileek) get all they can eat and spend lots of time in the gym.  I'm hopeful that next year we improve to a B.  That would be enough of an improvement for me.
And learn how to rebound and dunk.

I agree...no way they put the band behind the either bench.

I do remember being entertained when the band would walk on the court and point their instruments right at the enemy huddle during a timeout.

As I recall the Horizon League made VU move the band from the East side of the student section to the west side, to get it away from the visitor's bench.

I don't recall ever seeing a pep band located behind the visitor's bench.  So would the Crusaderettes then be in front of the visitor's bench?  Of course not.  I wonder if The Valley would even allow it?
IMHO, this is a nonworkable idea.

Osipoff should have waited for the LU game before he wrote that.  It would have been a different story.

At what location is Popeyes going?

I have heard it will be near Walmart, Tractor Supply, and Murphy's Gas.
There is a building being constructed there.

I'm watching the IU-Rutgers game and they talked about facilities, because Rutgers just got a 15 million dollar donation for athletic facilities.  Robbie Hummel mentioned that recruits do consider facilities.
