That video wasn't anything to make me feel better about the direction or future of the university. Padilla and administration doesn't have a go getter at the head of Enrollment or realistic goals. They dropped the ball in not retaining Dr Welch, whom by the way, has made immediate strides and impact in Ohio. Her knowledge in retention has now become well known all over in Higher Education.

Don't be so sensitive Chief! Applications and deposits are significantly lower and if you say otherwise than either you're in denial or lying. The proof is there just ask your fearless leader

What a public relations disaster as this definitely puts the feather on the cap of a not so stellar presidential run for Padilla. He's a shady guy and his desire to make Valpo an HSI is falling flat on its face. His hire of a new VP of Enrollment is another dumpster fire to his legacy. Getting ready to burn the boats soon with this sinking ship

If Valpo wants to get a handle on Enrollment, they need to call up the former Retention person that made great strides on campus a few years ago in Dr Andrea Welch. She got campus buy in from faculty and staff and is the big name in the Higher Education ranks. She was there before Brian got here and would have given Valpo a seamless transition. Unfortunately they'll probably drop the ball and go elsewhere. The huge problem with Valpo admissions is the Director Bart. The man should have been let go years ago and is a huge reason in the declining numbers. I can go on, but it will fall on deaf ears, as President Padilla has his own agenda .

I played DI so you have no idea, and I know Valpo a lot more than you think. So if you want to reward Valpo for participation ribbons kudos to you. I don't settle for crap. You can't polish a turd, it's still  

The resources excuse is overplayed. There's plenty of schools that are successful with less. That's a bad take, sorry but I put higher expectations for all Valpo teams. Why should I settle for mediocrity?

Well if you're good with .310 winning percentage at Valpo then you have low standards. For someone that talk a big game and name drops, Fox surely had suitors for an OC. So I don't buy he was too late in the game with Limbach. He was his dude and it backfired big time. Also his retention of players isn't what I call stellar either. But if you're good with that then by all means enjoy being below the Mendoza line

Well if you agree to settle to be mediocre that's your prerogative. I'd rather be a competitive program that's battling in the top half of the PFL. If you're fine with only beating a terrible in-state program and not being in the basement you're settling for no goals.

If beating a crappy Butler program is your high water mark, then you really need to up your aspirations.

Would love to see the % of football alums that have actually given back $$$ to the school or program. Just like Coach Fox, a lot of bark and no bite.

I have no confidence in Fox or this team. Landon has to be in hot seat unless he can finish with 7 wins and be in the top half of the PFL. His arrogance is DI, but unfortunately his mind and skill set is that of a glorified HS coach. Hate to be a Debbie Downer but I just have no confidence in this staff of making this program relevant any time soon.

This is all the AD, because it's not coming from his main cabinet members.

It's been widely known that a Sertain Person with a So What Attitude has had a negative influence on teams, especially Football and Men's Basketball for a few years now that needs to go.

There's at least one person in the athletic department that needs to go. I bet if you asked the coaches, they'd agree whom should no longer be here.

Washington's best bet to play professionally will be in either the XFL, USFL, or maybe the Canadian Football League.
