Update on Alan Harre

anybody hear anything recently? they seem to have dropped out of sight after his cancer (i think) diagnosis was made known. are they still just living quietly on their ranch in nebraska?

I must have missed that, since I don't regularly go to the Valpo website to check on those kind of things. When was he diagnosed, and what kind of cancer is it?

it was shortly after he retired and heckler took over that it was announced. unless i'm completely losing it.

As far as I know they are living on their ranch in Nebraska. alan and Diane have on occasion represented Valpo at College fairs. I don't have any knowledge relative to his medical condition.

moe, i don't necessarily disagree. but i was just wondering because a public annoucement was made by the university back when it happened.

My information is nth hand, but someone mentioned that they'd heard he was doing OK.
