Looks like Glaspie and Rosick's paperwork arrived
So the total looks like 40ish. No way to judge the talent level. Is 40 what was a goal or what was needed—numbers wise?
actual number of new players will be in the 50s just roster construction wise

Based on the 2 announcements on the website I see 2 missing:
TE Moody
RB Benning the transfer from Dickinson I believe.
Speaking of RB's we definitely recruited a certain type, small and quick
QB: Brunner, Ehrlich (TR)
RB: Rose, Foster, Tye, Kokosioulis, Benning (TR)
WR: Vetickal, Longley, Harms, Tran (TR), Brogden (IFS) , Wilson(IFS), White (TR), Stewart
TE: Perry (IFS) , Brazil
OL: McCool, Miller, Brubaker, Erkapic, Ortiz
DL: Plowden, Taylor, Totimeh (TR), Knezevich (TR), Zinkiewicz, McCormick, Thorp, Coates, Anzodru
LB: Slifer, Jackson, Hill
DB: Friday, Ziebell, Glaspie, Harris (TR), Gouty, Tripp
K/P: Pimentel (TR), Rosick
LS: Hourany (TR)
My quick thoughts on class if cared to be read
QB: Ehrlich provides much talent to the room, second highest ranked Valpo recruit ever behind Robert Washington. Should be an immediate upgrade. Brunner very likely to RS , highly productive career at Concord
RB: Benning should find a role immediately as our only two incumbent RBs are Rumoro, Allen. Tye is the every down back from this class and had multiple PFL offers. Kokosioulis,Foster,Rose will all be competing for snaps as receiving , gadget backs
WR: Tran older senior, highly productive at Pudget Sound , multiple knee injuries in past, White- came on late for Concordia, could be a sleeper find. Brogden- big reciever and in for spring, top of the line , WR is our most experienced group, he could crack rotation. Wilson- IFS as well, from Florida, high level of football , could see him as well. Vetickal,Longley,Harms,Stewart- would be hard pressed to see these guys cracking rotation with Yeats, Melchiori, Mackay, O'keeffe, Teising all back, Footy-Kounce back from injury, and the transfers
TE: Perry appears to be IFS , was a standout at mid level Indiana football , Brazil- late add when Moody flipped to Indiana state, have Hayes, Dinuzzo back , staff really likes Crawford last year's RS TE
OL: McCool - multiple PFL offers, was highly productive at IMG , will be interesting to see if he is a day 1 starter, Miller/Erkapic- both big body guards who are larger than we are used to seeing in freshman (290/300) like both programs in Mount Carmel/Saint Rita. Brubaker- Massive size 6'5 - 315. Ortiz - South bend preseason player of the year, 6'4 290, will look to play
DT: Thinnest positon on the team. Knezevich- Saw playing time at DII Ave Maria as a TRUE, plug and play starter. Thorp, Coates, Zinkiewicz- Unless there is another transfer , one of these three will most likely be in the 2 Deep. Coates speed, Thorp very talented but light, Zinkiewicz largest of the three
DE: Totimeh- 6'5 240, wasn't hyper productive at Alvernia but the frame and speed are there. Plowden- ready to play DL from Crown Point, great grab from the staff, true edge. Anzodru- San Diego player of the year, will have to think he will be competing for playing time. Taylor/McCormick- smaller schools in Indiana, both have large frames at 6'4
LB: Jackson/Hill- two larger Mike Backers, Slifer- more of a sam build. With Markley , Feltrinelli, Hill, Samuel, Cervantes, Beidl back here, again hard pressed for playing time from this group.
CB: Harris- Was a standout at the D3 level, did not crack rotation in the OVC. Should be a very talented PFL player Friday - long DB from texas, will be larger than every corner on roster, special teams MVP, Glaspie- from Homestead where Wyatt Little was from, Wyatt started as a RSFR
S: Gouty-Right up there with Tye, Brogden, Anzodru, and McCool as our highest touted freshman, would expect him to see the field in some capaicty. Tripp- Ball hawking safety from Texas , turnovers Ziebell- Played at a very high level in Wisconsin
K: Pimentel- Another regional talent , should be competing with Scoma who had a rough season last year.
P: Rosick- highly rated K/P if he is punting will probably be competing as well with Lankford's struggles last year
LS: Hourany- Good coverage long snapper at the D3 level with lots of experience, should start the next few years
Wow! Thank you so much for the detailed analysis! A lot of work, no doubt. Question: McCool is the brother of sophomore (redshirt Freshman?) Billy Jack. Could they end up playing side by side? Second, would you agree that overall Valpo will have more size than last year? Thanks again.
It would appear Waddle redshirted every linemen next year so I would not assume a McCool-McCool lineup. Our LT is back too. So again odds are probably not but wouldn’t be shocked
We definitely have more size on the OL coming in than previous years. Whether we see them on the field who knows. DL we have nobody Fowler’s size but a few guys are close. Will be taller

What happened to DJ Manns, is he no longer on the roster?

@vu72 I enjoy following you guys on here. You have some really good takes on VU Football. I'm learning a lot by staying up to date with what you're putting on here .... latest signees, scouting reports, etc. I'd invite you to Google "Noah Ehrlich, Crown Point QB." There's some good stuff on there re: highlights, interviews, that'll give you some insight into who he is and what he'll bring to VU Football. Keep up the good work, guys!
Wow! Check out Noah's "Junior" year highlights! The kid can make all the throws and has pretty decent wheels to boot. I'm excited!
@valpofb16 DB- Friday just named Team Defensive MVP, and 1st team All State DB
Footballguy78 that is awesome. I tend to stay away from positing accolades as they are hard to track / lots of leg work across 30-40 kids across multiple states
when I played we actually submitted those to VU media for our web profiles , would have to imagine same today
Also with the portal there’s about a 50% chance we see any of these guys take a snap for Valpo. Slimmer numbers start. Similar with about every school in the U.S. right now
