@vu72 - ok, but don't mention that the AD is committed by beyond mediocrity when the women's basketball and football, even with new hires, are in below mediocrity situations.
From the 2003-2004 season to the 2021-2022 season, there were 288 new coaches in the top 12 conferences in Division 1 women's college basketball. Only one (Keith Brown at Georgetown in 2013) was dismissed after their first season. However, none of the new coaches had a winless season and only 19 had fewer than 5 overall wins.
As I indicated, “unless the coach is arrested etc” . Keith Brown was dismissed for inappropriate behavior. What ever that may have been. His team won 15 games.
