November 14th is a return game at UNCW
We’re at that part of the offseason where opponents for future seasons start leaking out here and there. As more info on the 2026–27 schedule comes together, we can track it and kick it around in this thread. As of now, we know a few:Nov. 2 - Western Illinois UniversityNov 14 - @ University of North Carolina Wilmington.TBA - @ Purdue University (haven't seen it actually be announced officially but we are being told by multiple sources we will play Purdue this year)
Valpo @ Purdue (Friday 11/6)
We have some summer league games against TBD as part of the Baha Mar summer league. Valpo will play 2 games on Monday 8/3 and Tuesday 8/4. Last year Murray State played in these games. Anyone thinking of a late summer vacation? I’m considering it.
edit: I have heard its actually going to be 3 games. Likely but not 100% confirmed 2 opponents will be Canadian Teams. Then a third opponent TBD.

In all seriousness though, great opportunity for everyone involved. Last two times we had a foreign tour were before the 2015-16 and 2019-20 seasons, and those years turned out to have some pretty good memories at the end.
@sp37 they are up charging for the court seats, breakfast, and VIP special gifts that’s included in the university package. I checked the resort site and a family of 3 can get game tickets and 1 room for 3 nights for about 1400. It’s the airfare at 800 a ticket direct out of Chicago that is expensive. Only a 3.5 hour trip! Fans can still go much cheaper if booking separately. Also the court side seats are not really a thing. I watched Murray State play these same summer league games last year at the same venue. Needless to say there were mostly empty seats in what looked like a 300 seat ballroom/convention center with dining chairs surrounding the court. I’d say the attendance is going to be made up of a handful of season ticket holders, university staff, and team families.
The two exhibition games in the Bahamas have been announced. I checked with Brandon and he said he wasn’t sure just yet if there will be a broadcast or not for these games. Both teams are Canadian, tickets are on sale for purchase.
The only clear memory I have of Coulibaly is that he was incredibly slow on defense.
