Even if improved I don't think this Valpo squad is as good as that Butler team which was pretty good.

31-6 Murray. They were able to put some some yards against MTSU and Eastern. Valpo will have their hands full with Mykel Allen. If Valpo had a much more competent offense I would give them a shot at winning.

Well, being down 14-7 after missing out on. Fourth and 1 at their goal line, looks pretty solid in my humble opinion.
Can’t be mad about that at all. Moved the ball really well, held an MVFC team to 27 points, and we get over 300 yards of offense. Missed opportunities hurt (missed FG, failed 3rd and goal from the 1) but it washes out with the 3 Murray TDs called back by penalties. End of the day, legitimately hung with an MVFC team, gives some hope for PFL play.
We definitely look much more competent. Waddle has improved team from year 1 to 2. Murray State probably would not win the PFL (3-26 last 29) but they still offer scholarships and we looked like we belonged on the field with them.
I am expecting a much more competitive PFL season.
