From what I have seen from both teams this season, if Valpo limits mistakes.

MSU has given up over 160 points in 4 games with only one FCS opponent for a 1-3 record. They’ve scored a lot of points but their defense is on a Swiss cheese diet.
Confidence here is a big factor. Knowing that we went toe to toe with two FCS scholly schools and cuddah won against Butt..ler should give our kids the juice to go into this game inspired. BUT…… it also could lead to some overs-confidence that will lessen motivation. I’m optimistic but also very concerned. These kids haven’t learned to distinguish between the two.
This could be a 36-31 type game. Morehead have a better offense than Indiana State?
42 Against Ohio Dominican (34 in regulation , 3OT Game ) , ODU 2-2 (2 3OT Games!) allowing 30.25 PPG
75 Against Kentucky Christian (1-4) , gave up 70+ points to three! (Ferris State, Chicago St, Morehead St) allowing 58 ppg
7 Against #15 Austin Peay (4-1) allowing only 16PPG and only 28 vs FBS Vanderbilt
2 Against Western Illinois (2-3) Who allowed 23PPG but has also had FBS Wisconsin and #1 Illinois State (Game had to have felt good for the F-O-X word)
All of this to say! I would not put an absolute ton of stock in their points scored. Valpo probably hits Kentucky Christian with at least a similar score. Chicago State got handled by Butler. I think we are better (rarely have I said this in the last two years)
I think Valpo is better, although you would hope they would be after last season. If Keefe has another crappy game, I hope they pull the trigger. I don't care if he was good at Maine South, that was a generation ago.
