Team fought really hard. Great day by our secondary. 214 yards of offense and two TOs.
Rowan has definitely been improved. The defense is stout and players are getting in. Our run game is the next phase that needs improvement. I know our OL freshman class is great for the PFL and Tye/Rumoro/Benning will all be back.
Last touchdown was a bit of a let down but we had ball in air to beat an 8-1 PFL team and playoff representative on the road. Moral victories aren’t fun but this feels like one.
19/20 players on defense that registered a stat could come back next season
i expect a win next week. A fight against Saint Thomas (and maybe a win?) with very high league expectations heading into 2027.

Similar to the San Diego Game, struggled to run the ball get a push up front with our offensive line and on defense we had the pick 6 and two interceptions, but we look undersized and less team speed. We are being coached well but Dayton looked more talented overall and made the big plays. The third and 15 completion for 12 yds up the visiting sidelines was huge, gave them a short 4th down conversion and the “game icing touch down) our clock management keeps the game closer than it appears. Good coaching, let’s see who we keep/sign in the off-season.1-1 is a likely close to the season, just depends how interested any of these teams are in playing. Morals victories…..maybe but this was very winnable despite the improvement from last year where Dayton was up like 41-0 at half.
