Found this video of Kobe. Granted it was against high school type players but it also was two years ago. He looks like he isn't afraid of contact!
Been a while, are there any updates on how the team looks? Anyone exceeding expectations?
From what I have seen from some of the footage I believe this team has top half expectations in the Valley this season. I also believe there is POTENTIAL to challenge for the top spot. The exhibition games are just a few weeks away, we should get a better idea of the team and individual progress at that time. That will likely be the first look unless there are others that have regular access to practice.

Might be no significance but Bruno Alocen didn't appear to be on the Spanish roster for the consolation game (3rd place) win over France. He did play 17 minutes in the semifinal game loss to eventual champ Serbia but only connected on 1 of 5 three point shots. I didn't subscribe to watch any of it and have only loosely followed but top of my head I'm thinking his 6 game tournament total might be a respectable 10 of 30 from 3 with his other numbers also solid.
Might he have been excused early to prep for The Bahamas?
