Agreed. However, the only reference I can find on this is the Cincinnati Newswire article with Xavier's president, Dr. Colleen Hanycz. "In the foreseeable future, Xavier looks to add a football team under the Pioneer Football League." Has there been any movement on this or just referencing the article from the spring? (Wasn't able to find anything across socials, forums, etc)

Was mentioned on the PFL forum last week but the Xavier AD referred to adding football as a "definite maybe" and generally seemed optimistic. PFL post below:

"In a recent video concerning Xavier athletics, AD Greg Christopher was asked about football returning to Xavier. At the 48 minute mark, he discusses that Xavier has in its master plan a location that is a possible location for a stadium. It would be a $30 million, 5000 seat stadium that would be located in the west end of a parking lot that was formerly home of a shopping center.  Just east of the school’s Cintas Center basketball arena.

Christopher’s use of the term “a definite maybe” is the same regarding the possibility of football at Xavier. However, the discussion seems to have more wheels even if the price tag seems daunting. I have read that Moeller High School may partner in this effort as the powerhouse Crusader football program has never had a home of its own.

Just a FWIW in this saga.
